During the Assembly of the APA (Associazione Produttori Audiovisivi), chaired by Chiara Sbarigia, Paolo Bassetti, CEO of Banijay Italia Holding, was appointed Additional Vice President to enhance the contribution of the entertainment sector within the Italian market.
The new members of the APA General Council are Gioia Avvantaggiato (GA&A Productions), Nicola De Angelis (Fabula Pictures), Gloria Giorgianni (Anele), Giannandrea Pecorelli (Aurora TV), Maddalena Rinaldo (Cross Productions), Federico Scardamaglia (Compagnia Leone Cinematografica), and Maurizio Tini (Fastfilm). Additionally, Matilde Bernabei of Lux Vide has been confirmed as a co-opted member.
“I congratulate the new members,” stated Chiara Sbarigia, President of APA. “I am confident that with the experience and dedication each of them brings, we will be able to maximize the value of Italian audiovisual productions, making them increasingly prominent in both national and international programming.”
Paolo Bassetti joins the team of Vice Presidents already in office, which includes Gabriella Buontempo (Clemart), Matteo Levi (11 Marzo Film), Giovanni Stabilini (Cattleya), and Iginio Straffi (Rainbow)
