Keshet 12 announced that production of the gameshow “Deal With It!” will begin this week. Originally re-commissioned by Israel’s commercial TV channel in January after a hiatus of six years, production of the third season of this fixed-rig hidden camera show was put on hold when Israel went into lockdown early in March.

United Studios of Israel will again produce this new 10x60’ series for Keshet 12, which will now also feature some additional adaptations to the primetime format in order to ensure the safety of its contributors and crew. Two of Israel’s favourite comedians will be part of the show - Adi Ashkenazi and Avi Nussbaum.

“Following the phenomenal success of the format in Italy on Nove and in Mexico on Televisa, we are really looking forward to welcoming ‘Deal With It!’ back to Keshet 12. There is a real desire for shared campfire viewing here in Israel at the moment, and we’re confident that this new series will have families laughing out loud together in their sitting rooms, regardless of what’s going on elsewhere,”  said Kelly Wright, SVP of Distribution and New Business at Keshet International.

Originally commissioned in Israel in 2010, where it ran for two series and 27 episodes, “Deal With It!” is a hidden camera prank show with the ultimate twist: unsuspecting members of the public are secretly recruited to prank their unwitting companion for cash. Contestants must follow the presenters’ mischievous instructions - given through an earpiece from a secret control room nearby – to pull off some of the most ridiculous behaviour ever caught on hidden camera without being exposed. How long will they be able to keep going before exclaiming “I can’t Deal With It!”?
