In response to the rise in demand for the popular series “Miraculous - Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir," Zag has sealed several new top-tier cosumer product deals for the Miracle brand, while Disney channel US has acquired seasons four and five of the series. The deal and acquisition news was revealed by Executive Vice President, Global Operations, Julian Zag. Some of the partnerships include Crayola for branded coloring activities, Fast Forward for kid-themed backpacks and lunchboxes, Kid Designs for youth electronics, Komar Kids for sleepwear; Peachtree Playthings for crafts and activities, Galerie for seasonal and everyday chocolate and candy, Inkology for innovative stationary and activity products, Trends International for posters and stickers, and Card.com for branded debit and credit cards. Additional partners for online retail sales are Mighty Mojo Toys for party goods and supplies and All About Vibe for sublimated pillows.
Disney Channel will air season four of the show in Summer 2021. Last year’s TV Event, “Miraculous World: New York, United HeroeZ,” which premiered on 25th September, ranked #1 for the channel for the week across all cable TV with Girls 6 – 11; and #1 across all TV in its timeslot in the same demographic. The series is ranked by IMDB amongst the Top 10 Best Animated Shows and has been listed for two decades. The show, with a massive audience between the ages 15-25, garnered over 23 billion views on YouTube and over 200 million products have been sold during the past four years.
Seasons one through three of “Miraculous - Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir” is also available on Netflix globally on Netflix, excluding Asia and Brazil. According to Parrot Analytics, "Miraculous" was ranked the #1 in demand show for kids on Netflix in the U.S. at the beginning of this year. Another upcoming theatrical film is "Miraculous Ladybug And Cat Noir The Awakening," a $100 million theatrical set to roll out during the holidays this year and in Spring 2022. "The new Miraculous toy line from Playmates Toys and ZAG Labs that launched on March 21 sold out within hours at Target.com, Walmart.com, and Kohls.com, and we have many new initiatives in the works that we’ll be announcing in the coming weeks and months and cannot wait to be able to share the news,” Zag said.
