Miraculous Corp, the joint venture between Mediawan and ZAG, will exhibit at Licensing Con Brazil on August 28 and 29. Angela Cortez, the VP of Licensing for Latin America and Canada, will outline ambitious growth plans for Miraculous™ at an exclusive summit and cocktail reception for partners and retailers on the event’s opening night.

Miraculous Corp was recently formed with a clear mission: to elevate the global presence of the Miraculous brand and amplify its influence worldwide. This exciting new chapter includes the release of TV movies, spin-off series, games, digital content, and the highly anticipated “Miraculous, The Movie 2.”

“As we celebrate the first global Miraculous Day on September 28 and prepare for the brand’s 10th Anniversary next year, we have a wealth of news to share, including the launch of a new TV special later this year, season six of the TV series, and additional new TV movies and spin-off content,” commented Cortez. “In Brazil, we've made a significant expansion by offering full episodes from season one on YouTube for the first time in Brazilian Portuguese. And as we close new collaborations for the brand’s 10th anniversary, we are tapping into the strong emotional connection that teens and young adults have with the property. We are eager to work with our partners to unlock new opportunities, not only with kids, but also this vibrant and valuable market segment for whom we have developed a treasure trove of exciting new creative trend designs.”

A recent report from Brand Trends International indicates that “Miraculous” has 83% awareness among girls 3 – 9 in Brazil and is the most popular of all entertainment brands in this target group. Over 40 licensing partners, as well as retailers across the country, now work directly with Miraculous Corp in Brazil, led by Director Thienne Ribeiro, who is based in São Paulo and reports directly to Cortez. With multiple product launches, promotions, retail activations, and mall experiences in the works, the brand’s presence in Brazil is stronger than ever.

Most recently, Miraculous Corp signed a three-year pan-Latin America licensing agreement with Brazil-based Grupo Schio to bring branded, nutritious apples to Miraculous fans across the continent. This agreement builds on an earlier partnership in Brazil, where Grupo Schio produces apples to the highest quality standards, ensuring freshness and flavor with state-of-the-art preservation technology.

Other promotions through the end of this year include a pan-Latin America “buy and win” event with GUM across multiple oral care product lines, with special local campaigns by region. Also, for Miraculous Day, Miraculous will be presented at Livraria da Vila, São Paulo’s most famous bookstore, with 65 dedicated Miraculous areas. A major promotion across 1000+ locations with one of Brazil’s most famous QSRs will be announced soon.

Multiple mall events are planned in the coming months, including at luxury retail centers Iguatemi in Sorocaba, Shopping Metrô Tucuruvi, Nova America RJ, Prca Uberaba, and Granja Viana.

A multi-tiered social media campaign will be activated alongside these promotions to include an unboxing initiative with influencers receiving a specially curated Miraculous kit to help them express their inner hero. Participating licensing partners include Novabrink (fashion dolls), Playmobil (playset); Jandaia (publishing), and Ciranda Cultural (board books); and more.

Looking ahead to 2025, fans can look forward to an expansive and elaborate “Miraculous” exhibition in collaboration with Nossa Praia, designed to captivate audiences of all ages. This “Miraculous” museum will feature all of the key locations of the series, as well as the magical jewels known as “Miraculouses” and their Kwamis, who help the superheroes transform into crime-fighting superheroes Ladybug and Cat Noir. Additionally, a mall tour from partner C&E, inspired by the city of Paris with activities based on themes from the series, will tour Brazil starting in the Northwest and expanding to the Southwest region.

Fans of the globally beloved 3D-CGI-animated superhero series “Miraculous™ – Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir” throughout Brazil can now watch full episodes featuring their favorite superheroes on three Brazilian YouTube Channels: Gloob, Globoplay, and the Official Miraculous Brazilian YouTube Channel. This is the first time that full episodes of the series are available on YouTube in Brazil in the Brazilian Portuguese language. The Miraculous Portuguese channel, launched in 2017, has over 2.2 million subscribers with 49.2 million hours watched, increasing its viewership by 135% between April and May this year.

Five seasons of “Miraculous™” can also be viewed on Globo’s SVOD kids’ streaming service Globoplay, and the movie “Miraculous: Ladybug and Cat Noir, The Movie,” is available on Netflix.
