Endemol Shine Boomdog announced that José Briceño has been promoted and Carla Rodríguez been added to the leadership team at Wide Angle, the post-production facility under Endemol Shine Boomdog, a Banijay Americas company. Together, with separate areas of focus, they are taking over the duties of Wide Angle’s former executive director Pablo Sastre. Both Briceño and Rodriguez report to Endemol Shine Boomdog COO, Javier Pérez Teuffer, who oversees the post-production facility.

Briceño, who previously served as post production manager for Wide Angle and has worked with Endemol Shine Boomdog since December 2016, is now the company’s services and tech post production director, where he will oversee all technical post-production areas, including: datalab, editorial, color grading, audio mixing, motion graphics, mastering, quality control and delivery.

Rodríguez joins Wide Angle as operations post production director, overseeing costumer experience, administrative and financial processes. Most recently, she served as director of operations at Litoral, a creative agency specialized in entertainment marketing and branding, where she also focused on directing post-production processes and maintaining the relationship between clients and the team.

In regard to the promotion and new hire, Pérez Teuffer said: “We are pleased to be promoting José and welcoming Carla, both of whom will provide strong leadership for Wide Angle. They are both highly qualified in their respective areas, and we believe their contributions will strengthen the company’s growth and continue reaping big benefits for the team.”

Both Briceño and Rodríguez will operate from Wide Angle’s facilities in Mexico City.
