Endemol Shine Boomdog, a division of Endemol Shine North America, has signed an overall development and production deal with acclaimed producer Gastón Pavlovich and his Mexico City-based production company Fábrica de Cine, it was announced today by Alejandro Rincón, CEO of Endemol Shine Boomdog.
Pavlovich, under his production company, Fábrica de Cine, recently produced Martin Scorsese’s “The Irishman,” starring Robert De Niro, Al Pacino and Joe Pesci. Under the terms of this new agreement, he will develop and produce scripted TV drama series for both Spanish and English-language audiences with Endemol Shine Boomdog. The first project the two sides are developing together will focus on the complete story of Antonieta Rivas Mercardo and the fascinating and turbulent times of early century’s Mexico.
