Entertainment One has acquired international distribution rights (outside Australia) to "Paper Dolls." The new series is produced by Helium Pictures for Network 10 Australia. “PAPER DOLLS reaches deep into the drama inherent to this area of the music business: immense highs, hopes and dreams, but also manipulation and significant psychological and physical pressure. We are so excited to bring the show to international audiences,” Noel Hedges, EVP Acquisitions, eOne. Mark Fennessy, HELIUM Founder said.

The new Helium Pictures production for Network 10 Australia is considered a major production investment from Screen Australia in association with Screen NSW. Entertainment One has committed to distributing the title outside of Australia. The deal was brokered by Noel Hedges, eOne’s EVP, Acquisitions, International Distribution. The program's cast includes Emalia, Naomi Sequeira, Miah Madden, Courtney Clarke and Courtney Monsma as the five band members. “Equal parts gritty and aspirational, paper Dolls is a deeply fascinating, female driven story that pulls back the curtain of overnight success to reveal a compelling insight into the darker side of the music industry," Hedges said. "We’ve assembled a stellar young ensemble cast alongside an incredibly talented creative team at Helium Pictures. We’re particularly pleased to be working with global distributor eOne who we know will take the engaging story of HARLOW and their exploits out to aworldwide audience in the coming months.”
