Escapade Media secures further sales for Context Media’s pets’ series "For the Love of Pets". Following the previous announcement of the sale to Channel 5, UK, the series has also sold to TVNZ, New Zealand, and will premiere later this year, National Geographic US has taken both series 1 and 2 and Truevisions Thailand has acquired series 1. At the same time, series 2 has premiered on the Nine Network in Australia last week.

Narrated by Jai Courtney, "For the Love of Pets" Series 2 continues the heart-warming stories of pet adoptions, surgeries and the people who do it all.. for the love of pets. From vets performing life changing surgeries, to the re-homing team working with tireless devotion and enthusiasm to care for and re-home companion animals per year. To the considerate staff of the boarding kennels putting the neurotic pets and owners at ease, and the sympathetic team who manage the pet memorial / cremation services, helping families say their final goodbyes.

Peter Jenetsky, Executive Producer, Context Media, says “'For the Love of Pets' aka 'Operation: Pet Rescue' celebrates the positivity of pets in our lives and the brilliant work of veterinary and animal welfare professionals who step up to help our furry buddies when they need it. And it is a great thrill to have National Geographic as our US broadcast partner, along with TVNZ in New Zealand, and Truevisions in Thailand, who we know will reach an appreciative animal loving audience who are sure will be fascinated and entertained by this series.”

Anthony Appell, Escapade’s US Consultant, states “We're proud to be working with a diverse array of broadcasters and media outlets, each of whom is dedicated to helping us reach the widest possible audience”
