Espresso Media International has appointed new Head of Sales and Acquisitions

Java Films' executive Rebecca Nicholls will be taking up the role from the end of August as Jess Reilly leaves for a new venture.

Espresso Media International has appointed Java Films' executive Rebecca Nicholls as new Head of Sales and Acquisitions in replacement of Jess Reilly who will leave the company at the end of August.

“Jess has done excellent work in spearheading Espresso’s expansion in both linear TV networks and VOD platforms worldwide, bolstering our catalogue of content, and working with our network of producers. We wish her the absolute best in her new role and career moving forward,” states David Hooper, MD of Espresso Media International. He adds: “We are very pleased that Rebecca is going to be joining Espresso as Jess’s replacement, and bringing her extensive depth of factual distribution experience, from feature docs to factual entertainment and formats programming. We are very much looking forward to her leading our sales team to greater heights over the next year.”

Nicholls says: “I am delighted to be joining the fantastic team at Espresso Media International; a company with an exceptional catalogue and a stellar reputation in the industry. It’s an exciting opportunity to apply nearly two decades of experience in factual distribution, and to lead the sales team in their continued success.”

Jess Reilly joined Espresso Media International in 2017 as a Sales Executive, and has since progressed to a senior role, managing the distributor’s Sales and Acquisitions strategies as well as supporting the team’s expansion in recent years.

Of the transition, Reilly says: “it’s been a wonderful 6 years working at Espresso, which has been filled with incredible opportunities. I am immensely proud of Espresso’s impressive expansion over recent years, and the dedicated team that I’ve had the pleasure of building and working with. I’m excited to see what Espresso does next, especially with the experience and brilliance that Rebecca brings to the role.”
