Espresso Media International have licensed two high-profile documentary titles – "Monster in the Shadows" (3x52’) and "On Broadway" (1x82’) to Sky UK for Sky Crime and Sky Arts respectively. “We are delighted to have completed this deal with Sky. 'On Broadway' brings the neon lights and a fascinating loving history, along with a star-studded cast which will dazzle on Sky Arts; whereas the jaw-dropping 'Monster in the Shadows' from UK producer Revolutionary Leader is a sensitively told, yet unbelievable documentary and finds a natural home on Sky Crime,” says Jessica Reilly, Head of Sales and Acquisitions. “We are proud of our long-standing relationship with Sky, and they are the perfect UK home for these remarkable documentaries.”

Sky Crime will broadcast new true-crime series "Monster in the Shadows" in April. Originally premiering on NBCUniversal’s Peacock in the US, the three-part series investigates the disappearance of Alabama teenager Brittney Wood, who left her house unexpectedly in May 2012 and was never seen or heard from again.

"On Broadway" will premiere on Sky Arts. Directed by Academy Award nominee Oren Jacoby, an all-star cast tells the inside story of the last time Broadway theatre came back from the brink.

The partnership with Sky UK is part of a growing slate of global releases for the star-studded film, with Espresso also having licensed the title to NENT (Viaplay) for the Nordics, Channel 8 (Israel), Al Jazeera (MENA), SBS (Australia) and Sky NZ.
