Federation Studios announced strategic appointments within its distribution division, to support its strong growth and reach the company’s ambitious vision.
Chloé Horgues joins the sales team led by Monica Levy and Guillaume Pommier, as SVP International Sales & Coproductions. She will be in charge of international co-productions, and securing pre-sales in Germany and Scandinavia, in addition to selling ready-made programs. Her extensive experience at Newen, and before that at Calt Distribution (Robin & Co), will be a crucial asset in strengthening Federation's strategy in these key territories.
Guillaume Pommier, co-Head of distribution at Federation Studios: “We’re thrilled and lucky to have Chloé on board. Her expertise and network will be invaluable in driving our co-production and sales ambitions even further. With her arrival, we are reinforcing our commitment to delivering high-quality content while expanding our reach across key markets.”
Stanislas Frécher, who joined Federation Distribution in 2019 as VP Business Affairs after 7 years at Lagardère Studios, has been appointed Executive VP Business & Operations. In addition to his current role overseeing the Business Affairs and Sales Administration teams, he will take on a broader, cross-departmental position, focusing on enhancing the organization’s efficiency and agility to drive the company’s expansion and profitability.
Monica Levy, co-Head of of Distribution at Federation Studios: “Since joining us six years ago, Stan has been instrumental in the company's success. His managerial skills, strategic initiatives and collaborative approach are invaluable assets in driving our growth’’.
Simultaneously, Stanislas Frécher will continue to co-lead with Hannah Vidal Federation IP360, a strategic one-stop-shop dedicated to the acquisition, sale and circulation of IPs within and outside the group.
This reinforcement of the team is in response with the strong growth of Federation’s distribution, marked by a significant increase in the volume of activity and the number of sales signed in 2024 (+50%, of which around 40% were signed with new clients).
These good results can be attributed in particular to a number of strategic deals (such as the sale to Canal+ of The Agency, the US remake of "The Office of Legends," and of "Sambre" to the BBC), the growth of English-language series in the catalogue, the rapid growth of the cinema sales business launched under the Ginger & Fed label headed by Sabine Chemaly (14 feature films sold in one year, including the international hit "Survivre"), and the increase in the number of sales of remake rights.
