MIPTV, the global content and co-production market show, will take place in Cannes from April 8th to 10th. More than 100 exhibitors will participate, along with producers and buyers from an expected 80 countries and approximately 5,500 delegates. Let's review some of the highlights to keep in mind.

The MIPTV market kicked off the weekend of April 6-7 with MIPDOC and MIPFORMATS, creating two days of networking, content discovery, and intelligence gathering for documentary, factual, and format communities. The 2024 conference program will also feature high-profile keynotes, exclusive analysis, and future-facing MIPLAB tracks focusing on key areas such as Finance, AI, and Fast, along with the MIO Global Fast& Avod Summit.

Regarding MIPDOC, it will focus on gathering documentary, factual, and format communities ahead of the market for two days of networking, screening, showcases, and deals. The keynote will be delivered by the acclaimed documentarian Dawn Porter. As the founder of Trilogy Films, Producer/Director Porter is renowned for an impactful body of work that explores the overlooked, reveals the consequences of policy, and views the familiar from a different perspective.

For MIPFORMATS, the pitch 2024 took place in partnership with the German company ZDF Studios. The finalists will present their original unscripted entertainment formats in front of a renowned industry jury. The prize includes a development contribution of €2000 for the winning project.

The opening keynote of MIPTV will be delivered by industry transformation expert, global studio veteran, and leading industry consultant Mark Endemaño. The presentation, titled "Back To The Future - bridging the past and present to shape tomorrow's TV landscape," will provide insights to navigate the current transformational period in the television landscape.

On the other hand, the FAST & AVOD summit will be hosted by Alan Wolk, co-founder and lead analyst at TVREV, whose core expertise lies in the intersection of advertising and streaming.
