France becomes the latest country to acquire Global Agency's “Upgrade”

Global Agency announced that France’s Anytime Production has acquired its ultimate reality game show “Upgrade,” which has also been optioned in Norway and Germany recently.

Global Agency announced that France’s Anytime Production has acquired its ultimate reality game show “Upgrade,” which has also been optioned in Norway and Germany recently. Anytime Production is a new company based in Paris and founded by Guillaume Fourestier, former COO at France 4 and Programming Senior Manager at France Télévisions. It is specialized in the creation and acquisition of new formats (scripted and non scripted) that are proposed to its partners in France, Western Europe, Canada, United States and England.

“Upgrade” is a format owned by the Israeli production company Tanin Productions & TV. It has been broadcasted in more than 45 territories around the world including Norway, China, India, Brazil, Peru, Denmark, Canada, Russia, and Spain. The reality game show comes in surprise into viewers’ homes and offers them the chance to upgrade their old household items by answering trivia questions. This out-of-studio game show is filmed in the players’ own houses, allowing them to take part in a game show without leaving the comfort of the family sofa.

“Upgrade” has been broadcasted in nearly 45 territories around the world, including China (four seasons on CCTV), Russia (four seasons), Canada (French part), Denmark, Switzerland, India, Brazil Turkey, etc. Recently, the title has been broadcasted in Italy, Spain, Peru and Brazil.
