The Italian production and animation studio, Rainbow Group has announced the appointment of Gian Paolo Tagliavia as Executive Vice President of TV, Digital and Talent. The new appointment, which follows Rainbow Group’s recent investment from The Equity Group, is a further demonstration of the Group's expansion and innovation plans. Tagliavia's arrival marks another step in Rainbow Group's development and diversification strategy, which aims to consolidate its position in the global entertainment industry using innovative content on multiple platforms.
Born in Milan in 1969 and with a degree in Economics, Tagliavia has successfully led Rai Pubblicità and held senior roles in companies such as Rai, Mediaset, La7, MTV Italia and Telecom Italia using his extensive expertise in the world of digital and traditional media. Throughout his career, he has been able to integrate creativity and business, developing innovative models and digital transformation strategies for major industry players.
