"The agreement involving the licensing of successful productions to Pluto TV is in line with Globo's strategy of consistently increasing relevance in the entertainment market, bringing robust and diversified productions to the most varied audiences, in all windows and platforms, along with strategic partners. On this matter, the deal further boosts even more our efforts to generate and maintain the connection with Latin audiences, wherever they are", comments Angela Colla, Globo's Head of International Sales.
"We are committed to expanding our global reach by investing in global content, distribution, and market expansion," said Eduardo Arias, Content Partnership Sr. Director Pluto TV Latin America. The telenovela "Rock Story" will show the trajectory of former rock star Guilherme Santiago (Vladimir Brichta), who was a huge success in the 1990s and is now trying to return to the charts. He is imperfect, inconsistent, but generous. He will be tested by fate with the opportunity to transform his life when he discovers he has a teenage son and finds an unexpected new love. The plot was written by Maria Adelaide Amaral and directed by Dennis Carvalho.
In the series "Merciless", the cold and calculating serial killer Edu (Bruno Gagliasso) lives a double life. He is seen by everyone as an ordinary, attractive, and affectionate young man, when in reality he is a cruel criminal who kills for pure pleasure. He deceives everyone, including his girlfriend Ray (Débora Falabella), a romantic fashion producer. The mystery of the killer's identity is being investigated by forensic psychiatrist Vera (Luana Piovani) and by police chief Dias (Marcelo Novaes), who lead a task force dedicated to investigating these types of crimes. The series is written by the award-winning Gloria Perez and directed by Mauro Mendonça Filho.

A mix of sensuality and sophistication, The Cariocas offers viewers an innovative look at two of Rio de Janeiro's most famous attractions - beauty and women.
