Prime Entertainment Group has closed a range of deals with Brazil’s Globosat and RTVE Spain for the hit documentary "Berlin 1936's Olympic Games". Globosat acquired the documentary to air it on its sports channel Spor TV, which broadcasts more than 5,000 sports events each year.

The Berlin Olympics of 1936 were immortalized in the history program "Berlin 1936’s Olympic Games", which tells how the world witnessed the uprising of terror when Berlin was the host city of the Olympic Games. The media staging around this sporting event, orchestrated by Goebbels' propaganda services, tried to give the illusion that the principles of fraternity and sportsmanship of the Olympic Charter were respected. An important piece of History illustrated by exclusive footage and archive images.

“Globosat and RTVE have been great partners and we are glad to reinforce our ties with them with these new deals. Adding strong historical documentaries to our catalog has been part of our strategy these last years as much as developing our original Entertainment series. This allowed us to establish long term partnerships with such major channels and SVOD platforms like Rai, Discovery, ZDF, A&E Networks, Netflix and many more.” commented Alexandra Marguerite, Prime’s Head of Sales.

Globosat is the largest media group in Brazil and controls the leading broadcast television network and the leading pay-TV programmer in Brazil while the Spanish Radiotelevision Corporation (RTVE) is a state-owned commercial company with special autonomy. It is the most important audiovisual group in the country, whose objective is to offer quality, diversity, innovation, and ethical standards.
