GRB Studios’ Senior V.P. of International, Sarah Coursey, announced that GRB acquired three dramatic reality programs from OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network at the beginning of MIPCOM. GRB secured global rights to the programs (excluding U.S). Shows are as follows: "To Have and to Hold: Charlotte" (10x60), "Ready to Love" (24x60) and "Love and Marriage" (21x60).
"To Have and to Hold: Charlotte" the series that follows the real challenges couples face, from troubled finances to potential separations, there’s almost no topic this group of friends will leave untouched as they support each other on the difficult journey that is love. Five affluent couples from North Carolina from sexy socialites to energetic entrepreneurs, these power partners are flawed, funny and relatable.
"Ready to Love" a unique dating series featuring the real-life dating interactions of sexy, successful men and women in their 30s and 40s looking for lasting love and an authentic relationship. A unique twist on a typical dating show, Ready for Love highlights the men’s observations and experiences in the search for true love in Atlanta.
"Love and Marriage" centers around the lives of three high-powered couples who come together to revitalize the city of Huntsville, Alabama, through their joint real estate venture, The Comeback Group. The couples are longtime friends and avid socialites with strong personalities and strong points of view, each facing the realities of dealing with love and marriage while wanting to make this huge undertaking a success.
“GRB is known for its diversity, in both programming content and non-scripted genres. We are thrilled to acquire three fantastic, gripping reality shows from OWN and will be taking the programs around the globe. These shows provide an intimate look at modern life and we are confident that audiences around the world will relate to their challenges and successes,” said Coursey.
