The French Groupe M6 has acquired "SUPERmad" (5 x 20’), a new dramedy from international distributor ZDF Studios, for Téva, their pay TV channel with a female focus. The deal also includes re-licenses for hit series "The Fall" (16 x 60’ or 9 x 90’ and 1 x 90’), starring Gillian Anderson and Jamie Dornan, and "Bron" (38 x 60’ or 15 x 110’), with Kim Bodnia and Sofia Helin, for VOD platform M6+.

"SUPERmad", recently honoured with two prestigious Grimme Awards—the coveted Audience Award and Best Fiction—was produced by Network Movie and ZDF Studios’ wholly owned subsidiary Studio Zentral for Germany’s RTL+. Marie Bloching stars as Amelie, a hotel housekeeper. Following a sexual assault, Amelie develops supernatural powers that enable her to identify and confront sex offenders. She suppresses her personal trauma and begins dispensing vigilante justice, judging good and evil—until she encounters her own rapist.

Catherine Schofer, Managing Director of Paris Première and Téva, M6 Group, highlighted the social component of the title: ‘"SUPERmad" fits the remit of Téva perfectly, with its focus on female-related content. Empowering but with a unique blend of humour and sci-fi, this is a series that our viewers will thoroughly enjoy. We will broadcast the show during a special evening dedicated to the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women in November 2025," commented.

The critically acclaimed series and winner of nine awards and 24 nominations, "The Fall" is produced by Emmy Award-winning producer Gub Neal and Julian Stevens. An investigative series, it follows the lives of two hunters: high-powered Detective Superintendent Stella Gibson (Gillian Anderson) and serial killer Paul Spector (Jamie Dornan), who preys randomly on people in Belfast. Brought in as an outsider to run the team, Stella feels a certain hostility—but she knows the psychology of serial killers, and where to look for them.

The Scandinavian crime thriller "Bron", starring Sofia Helin ("The Bridge") and Kim Bodnia ("The Bridge", "Killing Eve"), begins with the discovery of a body in the middle of a bridge between Sweden and Denmark. Half the body belongs to a Swedish politician and the other half to a Danish prostitute. Detectives from both countries are put together to solve the murders and catch the elusive killer—a ‘moral terrorist’ who lays out his agenda in messages to the media designed to show us how corrupt we’ve become.
