HIGH RATINGS FOR ITV STUDIOS’ “BEAT THE CHASERS” DEBUT IN AUSTRALIA

The show, set to be produced and distributed by ITV, received more than 1 million viewers. Over 660,000 viewers reside in the main five metro capitals of the region.

ITV Studios’ quiz show "Beat The Chasers" received high ratings upon premiering on Channel 7 last night on in Australia. The launch saw over 1 million viewers nationally, more than 660.000 in the five metro capitals. The figures makes it the second top entertainment program behind The Block. 

The first season of "Beat The Chasers" was created by Potato, part of ITV Studios, and locally produced by ITV Studios Australia. The format is also set to be distributed worldwide by ITV Studios.

ITV Studios creates over 8,400 hours of original programming across 55 production labels, spanning 13 countries including the UK, US, Australia, France, Germany, The Nordics, Italy, and the Netherlands with a catalog of over 46,000+ hours for sale to broadcasters. The distributor forms part of ITV PLC, which includes the UK’s largest commercial broadcaster.

The fast-paced game show stars the five chasers, well-known for their appearance in the quiz show. The audience selects several contestants to go against each other in a competition to win a big cash prize.
