Half Yard’s Head of Development Dirk Hoogstra is developing the untitled new series, that sees Ross join the cast of the docu-series centered on the Fronzaglia family in New Jersey.

The Fronzaglia family - Alisa Maria, Dejroune, Milan and Joe “The Crane” Fronzaglia – are a unique, charismatic and endearing cast of characters heavily involved in New Jersey’s social life and business community. The family’s eldest daughter Dejroune or “Dej” is in an emerging relationship with the Miami based Rick Ross, who will take a central role in the series.

“We couldn’t be more thrilled to partner with such a living legend in the hip hop industry as Rick Ross. Developing a docu-series that features Rick in his first TV series alongside the extraordinary Fronzaglia family, promises to be factual entertainment television at its best,” said Dirk Hoogstra.

Ross recently launched his film and television company Lucky Bastard Media Corp. and has been actively looking for its first project. “I have had the pleasure of getting to know the Fronzaglia family and I have no doubt we will make captivating content together,” said Rick Ross.

The cast were brought to Half Yard’s attention by producer Franco Porporino Jr, who is an Executive Producer on the project. Porporino is a prolific unscripted producer associated with projects such as American Chopper, Live Rescue and Live PD.

“I am truly excited for the world to see this unique narrative brought to life with Dirk Hoogstra, the Fronzaglia Family and the boss himself, Rick Ross,” said Franco Porporino Jr.

Led by CEO Sean Gallagher, Half Yard Productions is a leading US producer of factual and factual entertainment including TLC’s Say Yes to the Dress, which is currently in its 19th season, and spin-offs including current hit show Say Yes to the Dress America for TLC.
