HITN, the nonprofit Spanish-language media organization dedicated to supporting the educational, cultural, and socio-economic aspirations of Hispanic audiences, has announced a strategic partnership with CAMB.AI, a technology start-up specializing in AI-driven multilingual content localization. Through CAMB.AI’s "DubStudio" solution, HITN will be able to localize content more efficiently in-house, significantly expanding access to mission-aligned programming.
“With more than four decades of serving the Hispanic community, HITN is recognized for delivering content that is educational and entertaining both on-air and online,” said Erika Vogt-Lowell, Vice President of Content at HITN. “CAMB.AI’s voice-preserving AI localization tools now allow us to dub content originally produced in any language into Spanish, at speed and scale, making it accessible to our audience while retaining its emotional nuance and integrity.”
“HITN exemplifies the kind of mission-driven media organization we’re proud to support,” said Janel Downing, Director of Business Development and Sales at CAMB.AI. “Together, we’re making critical content—whether educational, cultural, or health-related—available to more people, building bridges and connecting with audiences regardless of language.”
The initial rollout of this technology will be applied across HITN-TV, which currently reaches over 35 million homes in the United States and Puerto Rico, the streaming platform "HITN GO", and the preschool service "EDYE", which serves an additional 14 million viewers across the U.S., Latin America, and Brazil. By integrating voice-preserving AI dubbing tools, HITN aims to broaden its impact and make educational content more accessible to Spanish-speaking communities, regardless of the content’s original language.
CAMB.AI’s technology enables fast, scalable, and cost-effective multilingual dubbing while preserving the natural quality of the speaker’s voice, making it particularly suited for broadcasters, educators, and digital publishers. HITN’s adoption of this solution reflects a broader industry trend toward intelligent, inclusive media localization.
Looking ahead, HITN and CAMB.AI plan to extend their collaboration into real-time AI dubbing for live broadcasts. This move underscores their shared commitment to making educational and culturally rich content available to diverse audiences and highlights a new industry standard for accessible, multilingual media.
