ITV Studios Daytime announced a further commission with Britbox International for "Good Morning Britain" to stream on the service on Britbox North America, for the sixth consecutive year. As the award winning format turns 10 this month (28th April 2024), this latest year long renewal cements "Good Morning Britain"s enduring popularity with American viewers, watched by millions each week.

This particular commission from Britbox International provides subscribers in the US and Canada with the chance to watch a curated daily rundown of highlights from ITV’s network flagship breakfast news programme, edited and packaged into a special edition of "Good Morning Britain" each day. So far, Britbox viewers in the US and Canada have had access to well over a thousand hours of contemporaneous, lively, uniquely British focused news, entertainment and discussion from the GMB spin off show.

Emma Gormley ITV Studios Daytime Managing Director, praised the story and the relevance of the program: Ten years on, 'Good Morning Britain' continues to fly high with a brilliantly talented team both on and off screen, delivering three hours of great content every weekday to a loyal and growing audience. We are delighted that this content continues to reach viewers beyond the UK and that our North American Britbox audience continue to enjoy what they are watching, six years in. Huge thanks to Britbox for our continued great relationship with them and making this happen", noted.

On his part, Robert Schildhouse, President, Britbox North America and General Manager Britbox International associated the title as an icon of contemporary British culture: “'Good Morning Britain' is beloved by fans, and we're proud to offer this BAFTA-nominated news coverage to our BritBox audience. The show provides fresh insight into daily life to viewers who like to keep their finger on the pulse of British culture. We appreciate the excellent working relationship we have with the 'Good Morning Britain' team and congratulate them on reaching this milestone," highlighted.
