“Commandos”
Leading French distributor Lagardère Studios Distribution (A Mediawan company) has sold the hit thriller “Commandos” to Topic in the USA and Canada and SBS in Australia, after an impressive launch on NPO3 in August.
Produced by NL Film in collaboration with Avrotros and NPO3, "Commandos" (10x45’) is a complex thriller series combining the suspense and action of a whodunit with an existential character drama.
“'Commandos' is in the top 5 list of Dutch content for drama...and among the top 10 for all Dutch programs (documentaries, etc.). These are the regular ratings for NPO 3, both linear and online. But on top of these regular ratings, with a million streams in only three months for online-on-demand, Commandos did more than fantastic!” says Mylene Verdurmen, Head of Drama at Avrotros.
