LaLiga has confirmed that it is reinforcing its alliance with Migu, with whom it is renewing until the end of the 2024-25 season so that the company can broadcast the 380 LaLiga Santander matches through its platform. Migu also becomes the main sponsor of LaLiga in China, with whom they will also carry out joint development and marketing of merchandising products. This agreement, for three seasons, reinforces the deal that both parties signed two seasons ago.

LaLiga Santander will be offered in all Migu Videos ecosystems through a freemium model, which combines six free matches and four paid matches per matchday, following the same model by LaLiga Plus. Exclusive experiences and products will also be developed for fans, which will be marketed through the different channels owned by Migu Video and China Mobile.

This agreement increases the scope of LaLiga in China, as it is a new option for fans, who were already able to watch matches through the LaLiga Plus platform from the start of the 2022-23 season and which starts LaLiga Santander and LaLiga Smartbank. The platform was announced ahead of the beginning of the current season and will rebroadcast all matches from the top two divisions of the Spanish championship.
