Thema, a Canal+ subsidiary, and Love Nature TV-channel announce the expansion of family-friendly wildlife and nature brand, Love Nature, in Bulgaria, with six new partnerships since May.

Love Nature is now available on DTH platform Virginia RN (May 1st), on new DTH platform Neosat (August 1st), on cable network Sprint Communication EOOD (August 1st), on cable network Krakra AD (August 1st), on cable network Cable Sat Zapad (September 1st) and on pay-TV platform Bulsatcom (September 1st).

Since Spring 2020, a growing number of subscribers in Bulgaria have had the opportunity to watch Love Nature’s incredible natural history documentaries from an extensive library of original programming. The channel is fully localised in Bulgarian language and available in HD and 4K. Those launches further expand the channels reach in Bulgaria, where it is also available on pay-tv platform A1 Bulgaria in 4K.

“Further expanding our footprint for Love Nature in Bulgaria shows how committed we are to bringing audiences our content across as many different platforms and in as many different countries as possible,” said Jade Anderson-Busby, Sales and Marketing Manager, EMEA, Love Nature. “Now even more Bulgarian viewers can experience the beauty and wonder of nature by immersing themselves in our beautiful world as presented by the channel.”

“This new unstoppable series of new distribution agreements for Love Nature in Bulgaria cannot make us happier and prouder to be Blue Ant Media’s chosen partner in such a buoyant market”, added Séverine Garusso, Head of Distribution EMEA at Thema.

More audiences in Bulgaria will now have access to some of Love Nature’s celebrated original programming including: "Malawi Wildlife Rescue" (6 x 60’; 4K & HDR; Icon Films), which provides a look inside the country’s only wildlife rescue centre that cares for injured and abandoned animals until they are ready to be released back into the wild; "Dogs with Extraordinary Jobs" (5 x 60’; Oxford Scientific Films), a five-part docuseries that explores the extraordinary jobs four-legged friends undertake across the globe; and "Amazing Animal Friends" (6 x 60’; Oxford Scientific Films), a heart-warming look at unlikely animal friendships like a rhino and a lamb and an elephant who thinks she’s a buffalo, which will premiere on the channel on June 28.

Love Nature is available via its branded linear and streaming platforms in 114 countries on traditional pay-TV platforms such as Sky, Rogers, Virgin, Starhub, Bell, Ziggo Vodafone, Tricolor, TVB MySuper TV, Startimes, and many more as well as growing streaming outlets like The Roku Channel, Amazon Channels, Bilibili, Apple Plus, Pluto TV and Samsung TV Plus.
