LOVE NATURE LAUNCHES IN SPAIN AND PORTUGAL

The channel, accessible to over 200 million households, was distributed by Thema in Russia and Bulgaria, where the agent has brokered deals for the channel with Rostelecom, Tricolor, and Bulsatcom.

Group Canal+’s subsidiary, Thema announced the expansion of its wildlife and nature channel, Love Nature into Spain and Portugal. "We're delighted to partner with Thema to bring our award-winning 4K content to Spain and Portugal. The expansion of Love Nature will give even more audiences the chance to a front-row seat to witness the beauty and wonder of nature,” said Jade Anderson-Busby, Sales and Marketing Manager, EMEA, Love Nature.

Love Nature is accessible in over 200 million households worldwide through its branded linear and online platforms. It has already been distributed by Thema in Russia and Bulgaria, where the agent has brokered deals for the channel with Rostelecom, Tricolor, and Bulsatcom. “THEMA is thrilled to play an active role in the rapid world expansion of the mind-blowing content from Love Nature,” Thema, Group CANAL+ subsidiary, Distribution Executive Vice President, Philippe Rouxel, said. 

The channel is available via its branded linear and streaming platforms in 114 countries on traditional pay-TV platforms such as Sky, Rogers, Virgin, Starhub, Bell, Ziggo Vodafone, Tricolor, TVB MySuper TV, Startimes, and many more as well as growing streaming outlets like The Roku Channel, Amazon Channels, Bilibili, Apple Plus, Pluto TV and Samsung TV Plus.  It showcases stories about the natural world and planet earth. The channel has created numerous 4k and HDR award-winning series and documentaries. The shows aim to educate viewers and expand their knowledge about nature and animals.

Some of Love Nature's original content that will be featured across multiple markets include the second installment of  the six-part series, "Strange Creatures." The channel’s offering will also feature "The Big Dry," a three-part series that charts one of Africa’s most dramatic dry seasons in Zambia’s Luangwa Valley, "Life's Journey," which examines a group of Zambian animals and three stages of existence,  "Land of Gremlins," "Mysteries of the Mekong,"  and Season 2 of "Wildlife Icons," a six-part series that shines a spotlight on Africa’s wildlife.

In celebration of World Rhino Day on 22nd September, Love Nature will honor all five rhino species with a special programming marathon that includes rhino-themed episodes from the original series, “Guardians of the Wild.”
