Mediaset documentary “Donnavventura” celebrates its 30 anniversary with a new season as its sets reopened last April with all the safety measures due to the Covid-19 outbreak. The show is on air weekly on Sunday at 2 PM and rerun in different slots by Rete 4. Over the 30 years, the show has been watched by millions of viewers.
In numbers, the all-female format that sees a group of young ladies travelling across Italian countries and all over the world, explaining and unveiling beautiful sceneries, tradition, art and culture, had 500 episodes and had involved 365 ladies.
“We are incredibly happy to celebrate this important anniversary a milestone of our hit-documentary show, one of the first format to return after the recent lockdown. We are now thinking about an international version in English with no-professional journalists from different countries. This is a unique format that we would like to re-launch to the international TV market,” said Giorgio Giovetti, Head of Mediaset Distribution.
