Mediawan made a majority stake acquisition of 24 25 Films

The merge will combine the Cinema-Animation-International activities of Mediawan and the production company founded by Thibault Gast and Matthias Weber.

Mediawan has established a partnership with 24 25 Films through a majority stake acquisition. “We are very proud to join the Mediawan group. With this new acquisition, the Mediawan group continues to develop its Cinema activity. The merge will combine the Cinema-Animation-International activities of Mediawan, which welcomes popular movie producers such as Dede Gardner, Jeremy Kleiner and Brad Pitt, Hugo Sélignac, Dimitri Rassam, Nicola Serra and Clément Miserez.  "They have a strong desire to discover and support new talents and to offer audiences the very best in creation, which is totally aligned with our vision at Mediawan," d'Arvieu said. "Their catalog is rich in both demanding and popular projects, and the projects they develop carry the promise of great success. We are keen to support them in their future development, particularly in TV series and animation, and we are convinced that our partnership will be very successful."

Founded and led by producers Thibault Gast and Matthias Weber, 24 25 Films is credted with producing various successful films including thrillers directed by Yann Gozlan, "Black box," nominated five times for the César Awards, "A perfect man – or" by Thomas Kruithof - "Promises, Scribe." “We are very happy to welcome the 24 25 Films teams in Mediawan.
