Yasmin Zahid
Moonbug Entertainment has appointed former WarnerMedia executive Yasmin Zahid as the company’s new Head of Distribution and Brand Partnerships, for the APAC region. Reporting to Nicolas Eglau, Managing Director of EMEA and APAC, Zahid will be responsible for strategizing Moonbug’s long-term growth in APAC to build out global franchises. Kelly Cooke is leaving the company to pursue new opportunities.
In this role, Zahid will extend Moonbug’s footprint in channel and content syndication by forging new partnerships and amplifying existing partnerships. She will also focus on creating originals with key platforms and broadcasters in the region building on Moonbug’s recent successes within the region, including the launch of Moonbug’s linear channel in Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines.
