One Animation appoints Kelly Joeman and Tuan Nguyen for its digital team

A former Amazon executive, Nguyen will work as the company’s E-commerce Manager, while Joeman, a former contributor to Hasbro, will serve as Senior Manager of Audience Development.

One Animation is expanding its digital team with two new hires to fill in its newly established roles. Former Hasbro executive Kelly Joeman will join as Senior Manager of Audience Development, while Tuan Nguyen joins as E-Commerce Manager. Both experts will be based in One Animation’s Singapore office. “We’re committed to putting our fans at the center of everything we do and an integral part is ensuring we’re delivering a robust digital presence, across both merchandise and content," Sashim Parmanand, CEO at One Animation, said.

The content creation, distribution, and licensing studio's  Audience Development Manager, Glen Chittur will support Joeman during the beginning of her tenure, presenting development partnerships with HooplaKidz MCN, BBTV Professional Services, YoBoHo, and BabyFirst TV Network. Set to begin as Senior Manager, Audience Development today, she will be tasked with strenghtening One Animation’s digital presence and growing the company's YouTube network of 20 kids targeted channels across its key brands, such as "Oddbods," "Antiks," "Insectibles," and "Rob the Robot." She will report to SVP, Content Distribution Michele Schofield.

Set to report to One Animation’s VP of Digital and e-Commerce, Amir Biran, Nguyen is responsible for leading One Animation’s direct-to-consumer e-commerce business.“We know that Tuan will play a pivotal role as we drive forward our e-commerce and omnichannel retail solutions, while Kelly’s expertise will be key as we build and capitalize on the success of Oddbods’ vast digital presence and our wider YouTube network,” Parmanand said.

Joeman joins One Animation from eOne/Hasbro where she served as Channel Manager and contributed to the success of brands including "Peppa Pig," "PJ Masks," "Transformers," and "Play-Doh." Nguyen has nearly a decade of experience under her belt specializing in digital spaces and e-commerce, mostly recently contributing to Amazon. In her former role, Joeman generated 15 billion total views and 40 million subscribers across the channels she managed, working across USA, France, and Singapore on behalf of Hasbro. “These new hires really add significant firepower to our digital team and we’re looking forward to working closely with Tuan and Kelly as we take our online offering to the next level,” Parmanand said.
