Paramount Global announced that its UK Consumer Products and Theatrical divisions have formed a collaboration with Tottenham Hotspur Football Club (THFC) to launch a new product range as well as an integrated marketing activity in correlation with the release of "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem," out in UK Cinemas now. “It is thrilling to launch this football collaboration for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, especially as it resonates so brilliantly with the core demographic for the new film," Venetia Davie, VP of Consumer Products & Experiences said. "We couldn’t be more excited to see all this activity come to life.”
The collaboration will see a range of apparel launched in Tottenham Hotspur Football Club retail stores as well as online globally. The range will see the Turtles dressed in a THFC-inspired kit, playing football. Alongside THFC, Paramount will be running a host of marketing activities, including a "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem-inspired stadium tour where families will search for the Turtles in their sewer lairs as well as eat pizza, the Turtles’ favorite meal. The Turtles will also be present at THFC’s home pre-season match against Shakhtar Donetsk on 6th August. The new walk-around characters will be there to meet and engage with fans, as well as taking in the London sky line on the Dare SkyWalk. Activities and giveaways will be offered with the club’s Junior Membership program, amongst radio and exhibitor competitions.
Based on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles characters created by Peter Laird and Kevin Eastman, "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem," rated PG, is in UK cinemas now with tickets on sale. The title stars Micah Abbey, Shamon Brown Jr., Hannibal Buress, Rose Byrne, Nicolas Cantu, John Cena, Jackie Chan, Ice Cube, Natasia Demetriou, Ayo Edebiri, Giancarlo Esposito, Post Malone, Brady Noon, Seth Rogen, Paul Rudd and Maya Rudolph. The film is directed by Jeff Rowe and co-directed by Kyler Spears, and the screenplay was written by Seth Rogen & Evan Goldberg & Jeff Rowe, and Dan Hernandez & Benji Samit.
