Content powerhouse, Banijay Entertainment, announced Prime Video has commissioned a second season of EndemolShine Germany and Rainer Laux Productions’ adaptation of hit reality competition show “The Fifty”, originally created by Banijay Productions France. Including the German version, which ranked #1 in the Prime Video charts in Germany at the time of its launch, “The Fifty” now boasts three international iterations.
Season 2 in France made a strong return last year on W9 outperforming season 1 on nearly all demos and continued its digital success on streaming service 6Play. Telemundo green-lit a second run from EndemolShine Boomdog, after delivering stellar ratings for the channel as the network’s most watched programme within the US Hispanic market.
