Quiver Distribution has taken the North America rights on Scott Free Productions new thriller "55" and plans to release film in 2Q 2025. The deal has been negotiated by Guido Rud and Matias Fontenla of FilmSharks and Quiver Distribution's TJ SMITH and Larry Greenberg. FilmSharks will be presenting the film to buyers at AFM as other major territories such as LatAm, Spain, France, Germany, Japan are in talks.
"55" is an Indian-American co-production and tells the story of an organized pickpocketing gang which names their members after numbers. 55, an orphan teenage pickpocket working the streets of Mumbai, embarks on a life-altering journey after meeting the daughter of one of his victims.
Scott Free Productions is responsible for some of the most successful films ever made - including "Top Gun", "Gladiator", "Blade Runner", "Alien", "American Gangster", "Thelma and Louise" and "Black Hawk Down".
