"Ten Days Without Mom"
The Remake Co. has been the most successful format/IP distribution label since it’s creation in 2007 by Filmsharks, breaking the record with the most remakes made for "A Boyfriend For My Wife" which had deals for over 12 versions. Currently, the new throne it’s owned by "Ten Days Without Mom" with 13 version as recently closed deals including for the Russian version for Russia largest distribution/production co. Nashe Kino, for India with Athena, Israel with it country’s leading dist and prod co. United King Films, and Hungary with Vertigo.
Also Sony has renewed their options for "Ten Days Without Mom"in Germany and Turkey having those projects in a very active pursue, and Spain's sequel #5 is set for theatrical release on June 26th under the title "Padre no hay mas que uno" 5, one of the largest grossing Spanish franchise of all time. US Remake is under discussions now.
Other hot sellers where "Today We Fix The World" which the Mexican version was released as Netflix original last April ("Lo Mejor Del Mundo") leading the #1 position all over Latin America;"Sin Filtro" has Brazilian Remake to be released in Brazil by Disney and produced by Conspiracao filmes, also was made in several versions, where all of them ranked #1 at the BO; including Italy, Mexico, Argentina. Korea, Germany and the US are under discussion.
"Dos Mas Dos" was optioned by La Pirueta of Spain, also successfully made where it’s Colombian version rule the VIX+ rankings and the Stage play in Madrid, Mexico DF and Puerto Rico where #1 at Ticket sales. Also a remake was made in Germany, Mexico and Brazil. The US, France, Italy, Korea are under discussions.
Fernando Lebrija’s ("Amar A Morir") Irreversible Cinema & Cielo Content just optioned the Mexican Remake Rights On “Muerto Con Gloria” ("Ghosting Gloria). The Us, Germany and Spain’s are also chasing this remake.
"Morgue" was recently purchased and produced by BH5 for the Mexican Remake, and it’s going to be delivered by late 2025. The US, Indonesia, India, Korea, Japan and Thailand are also chasing this remake.
On another note, "The Others" English language remake is in the works with Universal Pictures and likely to be greenlit. "Nine Queens" Spanish language TV series are in the works and a deal is likely to happen soon with top OTT. "Letters To Father Jacob" English language remake also likely to occur soon. "Big Bad Wolves "Indonesian, US and MEX remake also in discussions.
The Remake Co. control the vast Disney Owned Patagonik catalogue, and Brazil leading production co. Total Entertainment catalogue with major hit such as "If I Were You" (“Si Eu Fuese Voce”). Now, The Remake Co. is actively looking to expand its Remake catalogues due to the high demand and market leadership and expertise, and currently discussing with several leading production companies.
