ITV Studios’ hobby talent competition "Pretty Small" has been acquired by RTL in Germany. In this show, some of Germany's best model builders will create masterful miniature worlds within a wide variety of challenges that combine craftsmanship with narrative creativity.

The format created by ITV Studios Netherlands and distributed internationally by ITV studios, secured a strong first season in the Netherlands on SBS6 and has been recommissioned for a second season. The competition will air later this year on RTL under the local title ‘Superklein - Die Miniatur Meisterschaft’, produced by Bildergarten Entertainment.

Kai Sturm, RTL Director of Entertainment says, “Nobody can escape the fascination of miniature worlds, whether big or small, old or young. With 'Superklein – Die Miniatur Meisterschaft' RTL shows the passion and craftsmanship of creative minds. I am personally very much looking forward to the various challenges faced by the model builders and, of course, to the judgments of our experts Gerrit and Frederik Braun from the famous Miniatur Wunderland.”

"Pretty Small" is a huge craft competition for tiny creations!  The country’s best miniature model-makers compete against each other to create miniature model masterpieces.
