Serial Maven Studios, the content business dedicated to new models for the development, financing, production, distribution, and monetisation of original unscripted intellectual properties has announced the launch of its distribution division with a catalogue of over 300 hours of premium factual content. Headquartered in Toronto, the Serial Maven Studios partners with talent and creative producers, using a bespoke 360 approach to access internationally-focused co-financing, co-production and commissioning opportunities. 

The distribution division is led by CEO Solange Attwood, Serial Maven Studios is now a fully independent international distributor with award-winning production partners from the US, UK and Canada. The company’s broad debut slate features content in the science, nature, engineering, lifestyle, documentary and kids & family genres with series and single documentaries from platforms including Netflix, Smithsonian, BBC One, HGTV, E! Entertainment, PBS, CBC, Arte, NHK and Discovery.

The slate features twelve new titles coming to the international market for the first time. These are: "Secrets of Egypt’s Valley of the Whales"(1 x 60’ Windfall Films, part of the Argonon Group, & Rezolution Pictures in association with Handle Productions), "Search and Rescue: North Shore" (10 x 60’ - Peg Leg Films), "Cosmic Mysteries" (7 x 30’ - Deep Field Productions), "Tiger 24" (1 x 90’ - W Films), "A Wild Irish Year" (4 x 60’ - Crossing the Line), "The Wild Gardener" (2 x 60’ - Crossing the Line), "Gareth Malone’s Easter Passion" (2 x 60’ - Somersault Studios), "Locals Welcome" (10 x 30’ - Artifactual Media), "So Surreal: Behind the Mask" (1 x 90’ - Rezolution Pictures), "All It Takes" (1 x 120’ - Artifactual Media), "Her Right to Play" (1 x 90’ - Goldfinch), and "Trading Skills" (26 x 11’ - Riverbank Pictures).
