Blue Ant Media Unveils New Original Series, "A Secret to Die For"

Currently under development, the title, Overseen by Sam Linton, VP, Production + Development, Global Media, will launch at MipTV for pre-Sale opportunities.

Blue Ant Media announced the development of a new, ten-part original true crime series, "A Secret to Die For." “Crime is a universally appealing genre that drives ratings and subscribers. A Secret to Die For presents an opportunity for like-minded commissioners and pre-buyers to participate in this premium new series with Blue Ant,” said Solange Attwood, EVP, Blue Ant International. “MipTV provides the first opportunity for buyers to partner with Blue Ant’s global commissioning team.”

Overseen by Sam Linton, VP, Production + Development, Global Media, Blue Ant Media, "A Secret to Die For" is created and produced by Blue Ant Studios. Jennifer Harkness, Laura Michalchyshyn and Zachary Frank contribute to the project as Executive Producers. Blue Ant International oversees pre-sales and licensing. Produced by Blue Ant Studios for the media company’s FAST and cable channels, Total Crime and T+E (respectively), the true crime series is set to launch at MipTV for pre-sale opportunities via Blue Ant International.

The 10-part series explores the lives of seemingly innocent and happy individuals who have long kept a deep and dark secret from everyone around them, even if it ended up costing someone their life. With emotional interviews, unlocking background stories from family and friends, each episode of this true crime project follows a suspenseful story arc and ‘double reveal’ that slowly unveils who was murdered and what the secret was that ultimately caused the events that unfolded.
