Sky announces star cast for “Last Train to Christmas"

The new original film, produced by Matt Williams for Future Artists Entertainment and Matt Wilkinson for Stigma Films, will be available on streaming service NOW via the Sky Cinema Membership this Christmas.

Sky recently unveiled that BAFTA-nominated Michael Sheen and Nathalie Emmanuel have joined the cast of its original "Last Train to Christmas." “At Sky Cinema we are rounding off our Christmas slate for 2021 with a film starring top British talent including Michael Sheen and Nathalie Emmanuel," Julia Stuart, Director of Original Film at Sky said. "This project joins other Sky Original films for the season including A Boy Called Christmas and A Christmas Number One.”

"Last Train to Christmas" will be released on Sky Cinema this Christmas. The film will also be available on streaming service NOW via the Sky Cinema Membership. Sky Cinema is the home of Sky Original films, with brand new films launching every month alongside a wide range of film releases and on demand library.

Written and directed by Julian Kemp, produced by Sky, Future Artists Entertainment and Stigma Films the title will release on Sky Cinema and streaming service NOW this Christmas, available from 18 December. It’s 1985 and Tony Towers, a successful nightclub manager and local celebrity engaged to a much younger woman, Sue, embarks upon the 3:17 to Nottingham for a Christmas family reunion, the title shows he how will change he turn of events in his own life after discovering that by moving up and down this fateful train, he can transport himself forward and backward to various stages of his life.
