Sphere Abacus rolls out fresh scripted sales ahead of Content London

Popular dramas including “Scrublands”, “Safehaven”, “The Game” and “Heated Rivalry” land multi-territory sales.

Sphere Abacus secures a raft of scripted sales ahead of Content London. The compelling crime drama, "Scrublands" (4 x one hour), an Easy Tiger production in association with Third Act Stories, has been acquired by AMC Networks for Spain and Portugal, Proximus Media House – Belgium, and RUV – Iceland for Season 1. "Scrublands: Silver" (4 x one hour) has been picked up by AMC Networks for Spain and Portugal, and RUV for Iceland.

Proximus Media House – Belgium has acquired "The Cuckoo" (4 x one hour) Clapperboard Studios, "Safehaven" (10 x one hour) Ravenwood Productions, and "Summertide" Series 1 (Eps 14-46) Red Letter Day Pictures.

"The Game" (4 x one hour), produced by Clapperboard Studios, has been acquired by RUV – Iceland and "The Boy That Never Was" (4 x one hour), produced by Subotica and based on the best-selling novel by Karen Perry, has been sold to Super Channel - Canada.

SBS – Australia has bought "Late Bloomer Season" 1 (8 x half hour), a Pier 21 Films production, and both seasons of "Rough Cut" (12 x one hour), produced by Vox Pictures.

"Hope Street" Seasons 1 and 2 (20 x one hour), produced by Long Story TV, have been secured by TVO – Canada, Seasons 1 and 4 (18 x one hour) by BritBox in the Nordics for Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden, while BBC Studios – CEE and Poland, BBC NL in the Netherlands, and BBC First in Belgium have acquired Season 5 (8 x one hour).



As recently announced, "Heated Rivalry" (6 x one hour), produced by Bell Media Inc., has been sold to HBO Max - U.S. and Australia, Movistar Plus+ in Spain, and Neon - New Zealand.
