Polish cult series "Glina" to return to screens for a new chapter

The co-production from SkyShowtime, TVP and Apple Film will see the legendary drama return to screens for the first time in 17 years.

Shooting has begun in Warsaw for the next chapter of the iconic series "Glina". The co-production from SkyShowtime, TVP and Apple Film will see the legendary drama return to screens for the first time in 17 years, taking viewers back to the capital's streets, where policemen from the Homicide Department of the Warsaw Metropolitan Police have to deal with violent crime and murder, the complexity of human passion and coming face to face with their past. The new series will see the return of well-known and popular characters, played once again by Maciej Stuhr, Jacek Braciak, Anna Cieślak and Agnieszka Pilaszewska among others. Many new characters will also appear.

The continuation of Glina is a co-production between SkyShowtime, TVP, and Apple Film. Władysław Pasikowski (Kroll, Psy) and Dariusz Jabłoński (Zasada przyjemności, Wino truskawkowe) will serve as directors, while the script is written by Maciej Maciejewski. Magdalena Górka (Jack Strong, Star Trek: Strange New Worlds) and Piotr Lenar (Pitbull, Kryminalni) will be responsible for the cinematography and Michał Lorenc for the music.
