ITV Studios' format “The Voice Senior” is scoring stellar ratings in Europe. In Italy, for example, nearly 4.5 million viewers saw the senior talent show premiere on Rai Uno, scoring an impressive 19.8% market share in the key demo and becoming the leader in its time slot.

Furthermore, in Belgium the show is doing incredibly well, bringing in high numbers and outperforming the slot average of VTM for two weeks in a row now. The show portrays fascinating candidates with interesting life stories, who have so much to share besides their great talent.

This is in line with the ongoing strong performance of “The Voice” franchise worldwide. In the Netherlands, the show reached 2.2 million viewers this weekend and a market share of 33.8% in the key demo, making it the number one programme in its time slot. In the United States, the 19th series attracted 7 million viewers last Monday, with 0.9 rating points. Among the big four networks, “The Voice” had the biggest individual audience of the night and the highest rating in the 25-54 demographic.

“The Voice” franchise, consisting of “The Voice,” “The Voice Kids” and “The Voice Senior,” currently has a total of 125 adaptations across the globe, making it the biggest and most adapted format in the non-scripted global marketplace to date.
