The 131st edition of the Rose Parade, to be held on January 1, 2020 from Pasadena (CA), will have the theme "The Power of Hope", as reported by Laura Farber, President of the “Pasadena Tournament of Roses®” for the year 2019-2020. Farber, born in Buenos Aires (ARG), and with a recognized career in the United States, has given a Latin touch to this year's Parade that will feature a wide presence and representation of characters from the Hispanic world. Rita Moreno, Gina Torres and Laurie Hernández, chosen as the Grand Marshals of the Parade of the Roses® 2020, will be paramount.

The opening act will also have a Latin flavor with the premiere of the song, "Reach For The Stars", written and produced exclusively for this event by the music legend, Emilio Estefan (Winner of 19 Grammy® awards). The song will be performed by the Puerto Rican mega artist Farruko, accompanied by the singer of Mexican descent, Ally Brooke (formerly part of “Fifth Armony”) and the members of the percussion section (Drumline) of Chino Hills High School (CA) , six times WGI World Champion winners.
