Lasse Scharpen, 33, will take over as the new CEO of Network Movie Film- und Fernsehproduktion, a subsidiary of ZDF Enterprises on April 1st, 2020. He will establish the Berlin site as the "Studio Zentral" brand and develop new fictional productions for the national and international market. In 2010, while still studying at the Konrad Wolf Academy of Film and Television, Lasse Scharpen set up his own production company, which he produced various films, including "Ugly & Blind" and "At Home" in conjunction with ZDF’s Das Kleine Fernsehspiel. He recently produced the series "Druck" and "Soko Potsdam" for ZDF, and the show "Deutscher". Most recently, Lasse Scharpen worked as a producer at Bantry Bay Productions in Berlin.
