BANIJAY’S “TWO WEEKS TO LIVE” TO PREMIER ON HBO MAX

The dark comedy, produced by Kudos production, is set to debut on the streaming platform on 5th November after receiving positive reviews upon airing on Sky.

Banijay Rights sold the exclusive rights to "Two Weeks to Live" to HBO Max. The British dark comedy is set to launch on 5th November. “Banijay Rights is extremely proud to be partnering with HBO Max on, Two Weeks to Live, as a Max Original,” Matt Creasey, EVP, Sales, Co-Productions, and Acquisitions Rest of World at Banijay Rights, said. “With great writing and an exceptional cast, the series will keep US audiences entertained and wanting more.”

The six 30-minute episodes, produced by Kudos production, received great ratings upon debuting on Sky. Produced by Bainjay company Kudos for Sky One and Now TV, the original series was created by Gaby Hull, executive produced by Phil Temple, produced by Charlotte Surtees, and directed by Al Campbell.

“Two Weeks to Live,” tells a story about a prank gone wrong. Kim Noakes, a woman in her early 20's whose father was murdered. She has been tucked away in thed wilderness with her mother. Kim sets out to find her dad’s killer and along the way ropes mismatched brothers Jay from "Taheen Modak," "The Bay" and Nicky from "Mawaan Rizwan" and "Next of Kin" into her plan.The drama also stars, Sean Pertwee from "Gotham," Thalissa Teixeira from "Trigonometry," and Jason Flemyng from "Pennyworth."

Banijay's portfolio has reached more than 88,000 hours of standout programming across multiple genres. HBO Max debuted 27th May,
of this year. With 10,000 hours of curated premium content,  the platform has accumulated a slate of new original series, key third-party licensed programs and movies, and titles from Warner Media's library.
