Fuse Media announced its decision to acquire digital original “Like, Share, Dimelo” to its flagship linear channel. The show is set to debut on 21st September on Fuse. “We are beyond grateful to have this platform on Fuse as a space to express ourselves as two Dominicanas from the Bronx," said hosts, Darlene Demorizi and Sasha Merci. "We are ecstatic to make the jump from digital to cable this fall and we only have one word for people expecting us: 'preparense.’"
“Like, Share, Dimelo” is led by Latin comedians who explore trending topics in Latinx and millennial issues, including politics, pop culture, dating, and sex. The newest digital episode of the show is now accessible on Fuse.tv, YouTube.
The show features special artist and celebrity guest, Amara La Negra. She talks about her work as an activist for the prevalent Black Lives Matter movement."Whether it be roasting the latest pop-culture scandal or educating ourselves on more serious topics in the Latin community and today’s political climate, we hope to impact our viewers and be a part of the representation that is desperately needed on our TVs," Dee and Sasha said.
The series originally launched in April 2020 as a short-form digital series, and since then, the team has looked to answer questions such as the meaning of Latinx, cultural appropriation in plastic surgery, and the mind-bending simulation theory of this thing called life. "Sasha and Dee are extraordinary talents, super funny, and not afraid to take risks while tackling a wide spectrum of subjects, and we are proud to further invest in them, and add their voices to Fuse's fall primetime lineup," said Jon Scarlett, head of the company's Fuse Content Studio, and producer of the show. "We have seen what they can do with 15-minute digital episodes, and can't wait to see what they come up with next."
