HBO MAX TO PRODUCE 100 LATIN AMERICAN ORIGINALS IN THE NEXT TWO YEARS

To the already announced “Bunker” and “Amares” (Mexico), “Días de Gallos” (Argentina) and “Los Ausentes” (Brazil), two new titles are now added: “Bilardo, el Doctor del Fútbol” (Argentina) and "Hidden Scares of Frankelda" (Mexico).

HBO Max announced that it plans to develop more than 100 local productions in the next two years, of which 33 are already in production. All these new productions will be exclusive to the HBO Max platform under the Max Originals brand.

From fiction series, films, documentaries, specials and reality shows, its content portfolio includes original productions that have already been announced such as the action comedy “Búnker” (Mexico), the contemporary romantic and family drama “Amares” (Mexico), the youth and musical drama “Días de Gallos” (Argentina) and “Los Ausentes” (Brazil), a drama series that tells the story of an agency that deals with missing persons.

These titles are now joined by two new stories that will make their debut this year: “Bilardo, el Doctor del Fútbol” (Argentina), a four-episode documentary series that will feature the testimony of the most relevant figures of Argentina and of himself football; as well as “Sustos Ocultos de Frankelda” (Mexico), an anthology of horror stories for children in stop-motion created by Cinema Fantasma, a studio specialized and recognized in this technique, which will take us to the darkest secrets of Frankelda and her book , his faithful companion, where there will be intense and funny stories where not everything is what it seems.
