“Toda la Sangre”, Pantaya’s mexican series, will premier September 15th in the USA and Puerto Rico. The show will be available too on Starzplay to Latin America. The upcoming action-packed mystery crime thriller stars Aarón Díaz and Ana Brenda Contreras.

The series is produced by Fremantle Mexico. The ten-episode series is developed and produced by showrunner and executive Producer Zasha Robles from Spiral International, the creator behind Emmy-winning series “Falco”. It is directed by Luis Prieto (‘White Lines’) and Hari Sama (‘This Is Not Berlin’) and written by Rodrigo Ordóñez (‘Los Elegidos’), Alfaguara Prize Winner Santiago Rocagliolo (‘Abril Rojo’), Natalia Mejia (‘Ingobernable’) and Alejandro Gerber Bicecci (‘José José: El Príncipe de la Cancion’). Fremantle will also handle international rights outside of the Americas.

“Toda La Sangre” follows Casasola (Díaz), a tabloid reporter who joins forces with police lieutenant Edith Mondragón (Contreras) and Elisa (Yoshira Escárrega), a local anthropologist, with the aim of deciphering a series of murders that have shocked the country. Together they travel through Mexico City chasing a ritual murderer who recreates ancient Aztec sacrifices. The series is based on the best-selling novels by Mexican author Bernardo Esquinca.

The series cast includes Yoshira Escárrega (‘Here on Earth’), Antonio Trejo Sánchez (‘Un Dia Para Vivir’), Clementina Guadarrama (‘Roma’), Cinthia Vázquez (‘Amar a Muerte’), Odiseo Bichir (‘La Doña’) and Julio Casado (‘Malverde: El Santo Patrón’), and more.
