ViX+ confirmed plans to begin producing the supernatural thriller limited series, "Más Allá De Ti" (Beyond You) in Mexico City and Baja California. “We are proud of Rosy Ocampo’s brilliant new series. The combination of a solid thriller plot with supernatural elements and a passionate love story, makes ‘Más Allá de Ti´ a very compelling title for a very wide audience,” said Vincenzo Gratteri, senior vice president of development at ViX+.
The ViX+ Original exclusive series serves as the first production by multi-award-winning producer and showrunner Rosy Ocampo for the streaming service. “Set in Texas, this is a series that features modern social issues and elevates the drama through supernatural storytelling. I felt empowered to craft a unique thriller by the incredible team at ViX+ and I believe our creative approach will resonate with Latino audiences,” said Rosy Ocampo.
The production stars Sebastian Rulli, Ariadne Diaz, Lisa Owen and Dominika Paleta. The cast list also features Patricia Reyes Spíndola, Salvador Sánchez, Arturo Ríos, Gustavo Sánchez Parra, Anna Silvetti, Nacho Tahhan y María Perroni.
The title tells the story of a Latina ex-cop Amy, played by Ariadne Díaz, as she desperately fights for the custody of her son. She discovers she can communicate with the dead and uses it to convince a powerful politician to reopen the case involving the father of her child wrongfully imprisoned in exchange for communicating with his late spouse. During this trade-off, Amy and the politician fall in love, leading to unexpected supernatural forces threatening the lives of everyone.
