The original Antena 3 series "Eva & Nicole" has been selected by MIPTV as one of the ten most anticipated and renowned fiction projects worldwide this year and will be presented at MIPDRAMA. It's a production of the Spanish group Atresmedia TV, in collaboration with Good Mood, from the same country.
Montse García and Daniel Écija are the executive producers of this fiction directed by David Molina, Antonio Hernández, and Álvaro Vicario. The script is written by Daniel Écija, Patricia Trueba, Andrés Martín Soto, Iñaki San Román, Paula López Cuervo, and César Mendizábal. Salvador Gómez Cuenca is in charge of Production, David Azcano is the Director of Photography, Luis Vallé is the Art Director, Loles García is the Costume Director, and Romana González (Pato) and Antonio Panizza are responsible for the makeup and hairstyling design. Yolanda Serrano and Eva Leira are leading the casting for the fiction.
The series consists of eight episodes, each lasting 50 minutes, and is set in Marbella in the 1980s, during the peak of the Marbella jet set, when Hollywood stars strolled through the Andalusian city every summer. In this context, Nicole has become one of the most powerful women in the town, the owner of Marbella's nightlife and the trendiest nightclub. Suddenly, a ghost from the past returns to her life: Eva.
MIPDRAMA is organized a day before the international MIPTV fair, which takes place in Cannes from April 8 to 10. This is the eighth edition of an event where a selection of images from the most outstanding titles coming in 2024 will be showcased. Therefore, on April 7, the Hi5 Theatre at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes will bring 150 to 200 buyers, journalists, and commissioners together. Atresmedia TV International Sales, in addition to being the global distributor of the series, will be present at MIPTV.
