Annecy 2025: Winsing's "Into the Mortal World" selected for Official Feature Film Competition

The Annecy International Animation Film Festival has officially announced that "Into the Mortal World", the original animated feature produced by Winsing Animation, has been selected for the Feature Films Competition in the Official category at its 2025 edition. The film is set to be screened during the festival, offering global audiences the opportunity to experience this visually stunning and emotionally powerful journey on the big screen.

A breathtaking fantasy adventure rich with emotion and artistry, "Into the Mortal World" tells the gripping tale of two siblings, who with their contrasting personalities, unite their extraordinary abilities to save the mortal world, and seek for their family. As part of Winsing’s Eastern Legends series, the film blends rich Chinese mythological elements with a universal message about family, love, courage and inner strength.

Since its theatrical debut in the summer of 2024, the film has emerged as one of the top-rated Chinese animated features in recent years. It received widespread acclaim and was recognized, including a Golden Rooster nomination and Best Animated Film at both the Golden Dragon Awards and Asia Pacific Film Festival.

Director Zhong Ding also shared his thoughts: "I’m incredibly grateful and honored.
